As much as the NFL tries, it hasn’t quite become a year-round league. Following the end of mandatory minicamps in June, there’s a six-week lull of action until teams report to training camps in late July. Midway through that stretch, after every ranking and forecast has been exhausted sits the July 4th holiday.
For the casual fans and many die hards, there’s simply nothing left to talk about. But for the fantasy football aficionado, there’s always a discussion to be had. Pro Football Focus has ranked their top 300 players for PPR (point-per-reception) redraft leagues. Many Cowboys fans love to load up with Dallas players and this year, it seems being at the tail of the snake in a 12-team league is the best spot to be in to make that dream a reality.
