No one really had a bead on what was going on with 2024 Bradenton (Florida) IMG Academy four-star safety Jordon Johnson-Rubell until recent weeks.
He had no 247Sports crystal ball predictions, but many thought he may be an Ohio State lean. That is, until he visited Ann Arbor early in June. Then, suddenly, the “what ifs” started circulating. He visited Columbus a week later, and it was still unclear what he was going to do.
That is, until he went to Texas for a visit to close his tour of official visits, then it became clear.
He made good on the predictions that rolled in afterward by pledging to be a Longhorn on Saturday.
