North Carolina’s 2024 class has been No. 1 in the recruiting rankings for months. Hubert Davis and his staff have put together an impressive three-man class even after five-star Elliot Cadeau reclassified to 2023.
The three-man class consists of Ian Jackson, Drake Powell and James Brown. It doesn’t feel like UNC will add anyone at the moment, but situations can change in a hurry.
The headliner for this class is Jackson, the five-star guard. The New York native is UNC’s highest-rated recruit and continues to hold his spot in the top five among recruiting sites.
Earlier this week, ESPN updated its 2024 class rankings and right there at No. 4 is Jackson:

Jackson’s future teammates, Drake Powell and James Brown, were both also in the top 100. Powell’s stock rose a little more in these rankings. He checked in at No. 27, which is lower than his No. 9 ranking on 247Sports.
As for Brown, he’s No. 62 on the list which is a bit of a drop for him over the past year or so.
The good news is this class is still a very good one and the Tar Heels could be banking on it after this season to help right the ship more.
