Dolphins resale ticket prices up 100% from last year, sixth-most expensive in the NFL

It’s going to cost some money to attend a game this year.

The Miami Dolphins may not have improved their regular-season record from 2021 to 2022, but they did make the postseason for the first time in six years.

Mike McDaniel’s arrival in South Florida, along with a slew of talented additions to the roster through free agency, trades and the draft have many believing that the 2023 edition of the aqua and orange can make it back to the playoffs and win for the first time since 2000.

With all of the great things happening on the football field, the stadium and attractions around it continue to improve, so it’s not that surprising to know that ticket resale prices have jumped from 2022. However, it’s a bit shocking to see how much they’ve gone up.

According to TicketSmarter, the average resale price of Dolphins tickets is $442, which ranks as the sixth-most expensive in the NFL.

As a whole, the league is seeing jumps, with just four teams having declines in their average resale prices from 2022 to 2023. The Dolphins are one of four teams that saw at least a 100% price increase. The Lions (up 105% from $147 to $302), Jets (up 106% from $199 to $410) and Vikings (up 107% from $159 to $329) are the only other teams that saw higher spikes.

While the product ont he field and the gameday experience may be better than years past, it will certainly be much more expensive to watch Miami take the field at Hard Rock Stadium in 2023.
