The inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge takes place during the 2023-24 college basketball season, pitting the two conferences each year with some intriguing matchups.
We finally have the matchups for the first year. North Carolina will be at home for the first version of the challenge: It takes on Tennessee in the Dean Dome.
The Tar Heels announced the Volunteers will visit Chapel Hill on Nov. 29, 2023 with a 7:15 p.m. ET tip. Broadcast information from ESPN will be announced at a later date.

This will be the 13th meeting all time between the two programs. North Carolina holds a 10-2 edge. North Carolina beat Tennessee, 73-71, on Dec. 11, 2016 in the Dean Dome, but the Volunteers beat UNC in the last meeting between the two teams, the 2021 Hall of Fame Tipoff.
Other matchups for the challenge include Duke at Arkansas, Miami at Kentucky and Clemson at Alabama.
