Ranking the 20 best NBA free agents in 2023: From Kyrie Irving to Gabe Vincent

Ranking the best names available as NBA free agency 2023 gets set to begin.

Despite the fact that the NBA season is over (congrats, Nuggets!) and the NBA Draft JUST happened, free agency is upon us.

Buckle up. As usual, this means we’re in for some big surprises and serious drama. We’ve already seen some of that with the Bradley Beal trade and the Chris Paul swap that sent Jordan Poole to the Wizards.

As we did last year, we’re ranking the top 20 free agents available when NBA teams are allowed to negotiate starting at June 30, 6 p.m. ET. There aren’t a ton of superstars available (and those who are some of the big names could re-sign with the teams they played for last season). But there’s always the possibility some unhappy stars might get dealt, but they won’t be listed here (spoiler alert: We’ll be back with a list of the possible trade targets this summer!)

Let’s break down the names:
