One of the most famous Oregon Ducks in the sporting world got his sendoff on Friday night, making his last appearance on Sports Center.
Neil Everett, a beloved sports anchor, and historic Oregon alum, was on his last edition of Sports Center, and he got a nice sendoff with some of his finest moments on the show.
It was announced earlier in June that Everett is no longer going to be employed at the Worldwide Leader of Sports, instead having his contract expire during Disney’s on-air talent cuts. In other words, ESPN is letting him become a free agent after 23 years at the company.
