LSU offers 2026 cornerback from Melbourne, Florida

LSU’s recruiting staff is looking at a rising sophomore from the Sunshine State.

LSU’s recruiting staff is looking for talented defensive backs in the 2026 recruiting class. That search has led them to east Florida.

[autotag]Xavier Lherisse[/autotag] is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback from Melbourne, Florida, where he plays for Eau Gallie High School. The Eau Gallie Commodores finished the 2022 season 7-4 with a loss to Mainland in the first round of the playoffs.

There are currently no Crystal Ball projections for Lherisse at this time but UCF is a 60% favorite to land him per On3.

Film Analysis: Lherisse does a great job of roaming the secondary like a center fielder in baseball. He does a great job of high pointing passes to break up receptions.
