The recruitment for five-star forward Jarin Stevenson is coming to an end here in the next few days.
After announcing that he is cutting his list down to North Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia, Stevenson will announce his decision on Wednesday. His recruitment comes to an end with one program earning a big commitment.
The 6-foot-10, 200-pound Stevenson is a Pittsboro, North Carolina native that has held an offer from the Tar Heels for a few years now. At one point, the Tar Heels were considered the strong favorites to land him.

However, going into this decision day there’s no clear favorite.
One big question for Stevenson’s recruitment is whether or not he will stay in the 2024 class or reclassify to 2023. If he does go to 2023, UNC does have a spot for him. But one recent report suggested that the pick would be Alabama if he were to reclassify and if not, the lean would be North Carolina or Virginia.
Stevenson is ranked No. 22 overall, the No. 4 power forward and No. 3 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
