Immaculate Grid is the new daily MLB guessing game die-hard baseball fans need to play immediately

Think you know baseball? Give this game a shot.

Think you know your baseball?

Then it’s time to put your knowledge to the test.

A game called Immaculate Grid has popped up, and it’s a simple yet challenging conceit: Each day, you get a 3×3 grid and nine guesses. The grid might be labeled by an accomplishment — say, 20-plus win season — or a team logo on each side.

Your goal: To guess the player that fits the grid. So if it’s a player who was both a Colorado Rockie and a Toronto Blue Jay, you’d have to type in Troy Tulowitzki or another player who played for both teams. It could be 500-plus home run hitters who were San Francisco Giants (Barry Bonds, of course).

Get one wrong and you lose a chance at a perfect (immaculate) grid. Use a player once and you can’t do it again (so choose carefully).

So fun! Very much in my daily rotation along with Wordle.
