Tennessee (43-20) will open play in the College World Series on Saturday versus LSU (48-15) at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Vols are making its second College World Series appearance in three years under head coach Tony Vitello.
Tennessee advanced to the College World after winning the Clemson Regional and Hattiesburg super regional.
LSU and Tennessee played during the regular-season. The Tigers won a three-game series, 2-1, at home versus Tennessee March 30-April 1.
