While there are some obvious names on Michigan football’s board in 2024 who the Wolverines are working hard to secure — such as cornerbacks Bryce West and Aaron Scott, defensive tackle Justin Scott, linebacker Aaron Chiles, and more — there are some big names out there that the maize and blue are still in good standing with who have yet to make their decisions.
One such player is 2024 West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade four-star safety Marquis Gallegos, rated the No. 254 player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite.
Gallegos is starting to trim down his list of schools and while his presumed top three of USC, Notre Dame, and Oregon all did make the cut, so did Michigan, along with Oklahoma.

Gallegos did take an official visit to Ann Arbor on the first weekend of the month, and has since visited South Bend. He’ll stay home and take in USC this weekend before heading to Eugene to see the Ducks on June 23.
He also has offers from Colorado, Nebraska, Tennessee, Texas A&M as well as others.
