Former Vol Nick Senzel was placed on the injury list Tuesday due to a right knee injury.
He was placed on the injury list Tuesday after being scratched from the Reds’ starting lineup Monday with right knee soreness.
Senzel has recorded a .258 batting average, totaling four home runs and 27 RBIs in 45 games this season for the Reds.
He played at Tennessee from 2014-16 and was an All-Southeastern Conference student-athlete and All-American.
Senzel was selected by Cincinnati in the first round of the 2016 MLB draft with the No. 2 overall selection. He came to the Vols from Farragut High School in Farragut, Tennessee.
