Florida football is coming off a big weekend to open up the official visit season which has been cooking so far in Gainesville. Among the notable news coming out of the Swamp was On3’s Recruiting Prediciton Machine pick by Corey Bender for one particular 2024 prospect.
Four-star linebacker [autotag]Kristopher Jones[/autotag] out of Fairfax (Virginia) got the pick late Saturday night after Bender received news that Billy Napier and Co. were doing a superlative job hosting him and his family. Subsequently, a confidence level of 75% was assigned to the pick.
The 6-foot-2-inch, 220-pound defender has also been strongly considering the Georgia Bulldogs, but it appears that the Orange and Blue are on the verge of prevailing.
Jones is ranked No. 124 overall and No. 11 at his position nationally according to the 247Sports composite while the On3 industry ranking has him at Nos. 149 and 15, respectively. He currently has two crystal ball predictions for Florida from 247Sports, which also leads On3’s RPM projections with an 87% chance of landing him.
