Seth Curry has been a valuable presence for the Brooklyn Nets over the past two seasons as he has been a steady presence off the bench. Despite his ability to score the ball when called upon, Jakob Ashlin of Fansided says that Curry will definitely not be back with Brooklyn next season.
In two seasons (80 games) with the Nets, Curry has averaged 10.6 points while shooting 47.3% from the field and 42.7% from behind the three-point line. During the 2021-22 season, Curry’s first in Brooklyn, he averaged 14.9 points per contest and started all 19 games he played in that season after being traded to the Nets mid-season in the trade that brought James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Curry is one of five free-agents for the Nets this offseason (Curry is unrestricted and Brooklyn has his bird rights) and it will be interesting to see if he will be brought back to the team for next season. Curry, 32, is one of the more dependable bench scorers in the league so as long as his price isn’t too high, Brooklyn should re-sign him.
