Bill Bedenbaugh is at it again, as he’s made the top ten for a big-time IOL out of Tampa, Florida.
When I say big. I mean massive, as Eddy Pierre-Louis is 6-foot-3, 335 pounds, and plays at Tampa Catholic. The same Tampa Catholic team where 2023 signee Lewis Carter plied his craft.
Pierre-Louis is a 247Sports composite four-star and is ranked as the No. 12 IOL in the nation.
According to 247Sports, he’s a multi-sport athlete that also plays basketball and does track and field (does throwing events along with sprints). He even posted a 34’1.5 in shot put last winter.
One thing we know about Bedenbaugh is he loves versatility, and Pierre-Louis brings that. Last season he got snaps at guard and tackle. He also played some defense as well.
This won’t be an easy recruiting win for the Sooners as Pierre-Louis on included Miami, Alabama, Oregon, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, USC, Texas A&M, and UCF to go along with the Sooners. At the moment, Florida leads the way for Pierre-Louis, according to On3’s recruiting prediction machine. There hasn’t been a prediction issued for Pierre-Louis just yet, so don’t count out the Sooners.
Because if Sooner fans know anything, it’s that Bedenbaugh’s reputation speaks for itself. He won’t be an easy beat, either.
Top schools. I appreciate all the coaches that gave me a opportunity💫🙏 pic.twitter.com/ZqLmYSeEDI
