He’s the San Francisco Giant who hit the 100th “splash hit” — that’s a home run into McCovey Cove in the Bay — in the history of Oracle Park. He did it on Friday night against the Baltimore Orioles.
But we’re here to talk about the guy in a kayak — of which there are many during games in San Francisco — who now owns the ball hit by Wade Jr. Cameras caught him grabbing the ball and being seemingly in shock, emotional over the fact that he had a piece of history:
