The Atlanta Falcons are determined to return to the postseason in 2023, and unlike in recent years, their roster is actually equipped to do so. Regardless of whether or not the team returns to the playoffs, though, the Falcons are leaving their red gradient uniforms at home this season.
According to head coach Arthur Smith, the team is swapping out the gradient jerseys for Atlanta’s throwback uniform with the red helmet.

Fans were somewhat divided when the gradient uniforms were unveiled in 2020, and many preferred the classic look. The Falcons will reportedly wear their throwbacks three times this season, but the uniform schedule has not yet been released by the team.
Atlanta opens the 2023 season up at home against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1.
