The USC Trojans will be, for many, the favorite to win the 2023 Pac-12 football championship. They have a loaded offense, as everyone knows, but the additions on defense in the transfer portal — most notably Bear Alexander from Georgia and Mason Cobb from Oklahoma State — give USC more talent and depth in its front seven than last year.
USC will, at the very least, be expected to make the Pac-12 Championship Game in its last season as a Pac-12 member school. Not returning to Las Vegas would rate as a considerable disappointment for the Trojans, who hope to make the College Football Playoff but who really need — before anything else — to win their conference before they move to the Big Ten.
If one was to determine which Pac-12 opponent is most likely to face USC in the Pac-12 title game and become the foremost contender for the Trojans, one team seems to be viewed as a notch above the others.
Find out which team got the nod in the conversation on Trojan Conquest Live, the Sunday show on Mark Rogers’ USC channel at The Voice of College Football. Trojan Conquest Live, co-hosted by Tim Prangley and Rick Anaya, airs every Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern and 5 p.m. Pacific.
This coming Sunday — June 4 — Trojan Conquest Live will feature a one-hour interview with USC legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz. Don’t miss it!
