The North Carolina Tar Heels fell short of repeating as Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament champs, losing to Clemson on Saturday afternoon in the semifinals. But now the focus shifts to the NCAA Tournament as UNC is in the Terre Haute Regional.
Ahead of that matchup on Friday against Iowa, a Tar Heels player has earned some honors.
Tomas Frick was named to the ACC All-Tournament team for his efforts in three games in Durham. Frick was the lone Tar Heel to make the tournament team after hitting .571 with two home runs and 9 RBI’s in a span of three games that included two wins and a loss.

As you see above, the all-tournament team features a lot of Clemson and Miami players as the two teams met in the title game with the Tigers capturing the title. Wake Forest is represented twice, while Notre Dame and UNC have one selection each.
