Joe Burrow’s new look, explained by his barber

Here’s where Joe Burrow got his new look.

Hair has been an interesting subject surrounding the Cincinnati Bengals for the past few weeks (there’s a statement only possible in the NFL world around this time of year).

There was B.J. Hill finally going bald, honoring a bet he made about whether the team would re-sign linebacker Germaine Pratt.

And Joe Burrow’s new look was the talk of voluntary practices.

That new look came from barber Darnell Bonner, who runs Nell’s Barbershop. WCPO’s Marshall Kramsky caught the story:

Burrow’s barber, Darnell Bonner, said it was all Burrow’s idea.

“I cut according to his vision,” said Bonner, who owns “Nell’s Barbershop” in Florence, Kentucky.

Naturally, word of mouth lit this story on fire and Bonner said the following: “We had every little kid, a couple adults, too, but every little kid asking for the Joe Burrow fade”

Whatever Burrow decides to do next, one can presume Bonner will be the man on the job.
