Jets land three players on ESPN’s top 100 fantasy football rankings

How are you viewing the Jets in fantasy football?

Fantasy football drafts are right around the corner, meaning draft boards and rankings are starting to be built. That’s true over at ESPN, where Field Yates recently unveiled his top 100 players for fantasy football and three Jets make an appearance on the board. The rankings are based on PPR (points per reception) scoring.

Reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year WR Garrett Wilson checks in at No. 22 overall and the No. 11 wide receiver. So in a standard 12-team league, that’s good enough to be a second-round pick and a low-end No. 1 receiver in a starting lineup. Having a quarterback like Aaron Rodgers throwing you the football will help your ceiling reach even higher, especially considering he reached 1,100 yards while having four different quarterbacks last season.

Also making an appearance in the top 50 is RB Breece Hall, who could have been Offensive Rookie of the Year himself if it wasn’t for his ACL injury. He ranks No. 47 overall and as the No. 20 running back. That’s a late-third/early-fourth-round spot for Hall and a solid RB2 on your team.

The third player on the list is the aforementioned Rodgers. This also shows how deep quarterbacks have become in fantasy. Rodgers is No. 80 overall and the 13th-ranked quarterback. In fact, he checks in right behind Tua Tagovailoa (No. 78 overall, No. 11 quarterback) and Geno Smith (No. 79 overall, No. 12 quarterback). That would put Rodgers in the seventh round of drafts. For comparison, the top three quarterbacks (Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts) are in the top 30 of Yates’ rankings.

Other potential deeper options could include WRs Allen Lazard and Mecole Hardman and TE Tyler Conklin.
