He received a no-decision, allowing three runs (two earned), six hits and five walks, while recording five strikeouts.
Parris went 0-for-3 in the against Christ Presbyterian Academy.
Catholic claimed its first-ever state championship when Ian Hubbard hit a walk-off single in the seventh inning with two outs.
It was the fourth appearance in a state championship for Catholic, which reached the Division II title game in 2009. The Fighting Irish appeared in the Division I Class AA championship game in 2014-15.
