Clemson junior PJ Hall announced on Thursday he will return to school for the 2023-23 season after withdrawing from the 2023 NBA draft.
Hall competed last week in the G League Elite Camp in front of teams and scouts in Chicago, Illinois. He emerged as one of the top performers from the two-day event and was one of eight prospects invited to participate in the draft combine.
Despite a great showing, Hall was still considered a borderline second-round pick. After receiving advice from teams, Hall opted to return to school for at least one more year to improve his skills and ability on the court.

Hall was named to the All-ACC third team last season after averaging 15.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and one assist on 39.8% shooting from 3-point range. He scored his 1,000th career point against Notre Dame on March 4.
With Hall back in the fold, the Tigers look to build upon their successful 2022-23 campaign, in which they posted a program-record 14 conference wins. He is the No. 2 returning scorer in the ACC.
