Michigan football has five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis committed to it in the 2024 class, but the Wolverines currently only have one wide receiver in the 2024 cycle to go along with the quarterback — Michigan also has two top tight ends as well.
The Wolverines are firmly in on a few top wide receivers in the current cycle like five-star Ryan Wingo and four-star Gatlin Bair.
And it appears that Michigan has made a final cut for another coveted wide receiver, Makhai White.
White announced on Twitter his final eight schools he is considering and Michigan made it along with Tennessee, Maryland, Penn State, Arkansas, LSU, Virginia Tech, and Oklahoma.

The 2024 three-star, King George (Virginia) wide receiver has fantastic size entering his senior year of high school standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 185-pounds.
According to the 247Sports Composite, White is the 531st-ranked recruit in the 2024 cycle and the 10th-ranked prospect in Virginia.
There are currently two Crystal Ball predictions on White going to Michigan from 247Sports. One is from an Oklahoma Sooners insider and the other is by Greg Biggins — a national recruiting analyst. And if you look at the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Wolverines are leading the way with a 70.1% chance to land White.
In 2022, White caught 37 catches for 1,039 yards, and 18 touchdowns during his junior year of high school.
