The Indianapolis Colts signed defensive tackle Adetomiwa Adebawore to a four-year rookie deal, the team announced Wednesday.
A fourth-round pick (No. 110 overall) in the 2023 NFL draft, Adebawore was considered a steal by many analysts following the draft. Some pundits had him going as early as the second round.
The contract is worth $4.36 million and includes a signing bonus of $796,000, according to Mike Chappell of Fox59.
Though Adebawore spent most of his time at Northwestern working off the edge, it’s likely he will spend the majority of his reps at the three-technique position behind DeForest Buckner and free-agent signee Taven Bryan.
Adebawore is the ninth rookie to sign his deal. There are three left to do so; first-rounder Anthony Richardson, second-rounder Julius Brents and fourth-rounder Blake Freeland.
