The Arkansas softball team spent most of the last three seasons as one of the nation’s best teams.
But the two straight Super Regional appearances by the Razorbacks will stop at just that number.
Oregon, the No. 2-seed in the Fayetteville Regional, beat Arkansas, 14-4, on Sunday to go a perfect 3-0 in the tournament and advance to Supers. The win came a day after the Ducks sent Arkansas to the loser’s bracket with a 10-4 win.
The Razorbacks’ trailed just 5-4 entering the fifth inning, but Oregon dropped nine in the frame to force the run-rule finish.
Arkansas’ season came to end 40-19 record. The last two seasons the Razorbacks lost 11 games each year.
