Last week, we learned of the 2023 NFL schedule. Now, we know the dates of all three Washington preseason games.
Here’s a schedule for the Commanders’ three preseason games:
- Aug. 11: at Cleveland Browns, 7:30 p.m. ET
- Aug. 21: vs. Baltimore Ravens, 8 p.m. ET, ESPN
- Aug. 26: vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m. ET
Washington’s entire preseason schedule consists of three games against the AFC North — minus the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Of course, earlier this week, the Commanders and Ravens announced they would convene for a pair of joint practices on Aug. 15-16 at Baltimore’s training complex ahead of the preseason game. The joint practices are popular with players and coaches.

The Ravens are often on Washington’s preseason schedule, which makes sense considering the proximity of the two franchises.
In addition to the new preseason schedule, we recently learned of Washington’s new preseason broadcasting team which consists of Chick Hernandez, Brian Mitchell and Logan Paulsen.
