The Colorado Buffaloes and head coach Deion Sanders have done work when it comes to recruiting the cornerback position. In back-to-back recruiting cycles, Coach Prime landed five-star CBs Travis Hunter (at Jackson State) and Cormani McClain. Charles Lester III could be next as the five-star is one of the highest-ranked 2024 CBs.
On Wednesday, Lester took to Twitter to clarify which schools he will be taking official visits to, and Colorado made the cut. The Sarasota, Florida native will be in Boulder from June 9-11, he announced.
Lester is listed at 6-foot-1, 171 pounds and is the No. 15 overall recruit and the No. 2 CB for the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports Composite.
As of now, Lester has a top three of Alabama, Florida State and Georgia, despite his intentions to visit Colorado. But based on Coach Prime’s track record, I wouldn’t count the Buffs out until pen is put to paper on a national letter of intent.
Sorry for confusion! Here is my official visit schedule! (i will no longer take an official to Ohio state University) i am down to 3 schools (UA, FSU, UGA) all questions should be answered here!
