While the Philadelphia 76ers are done for the season following another second-round exit, there is a former Sixers star still in the playoffs putting in work.
Former Sixers star Jimmy Butler is continuing to have a phenomenal performance in these 2023 playoffs. In Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Wednesday night, Butler led the Miami Heat to a 123-116 win over the Boston Celtics on the road.
Butler was terrific as he had 35 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and six steals. He shot 12-for-24 from the floor, he knocked down two triples, and he was a solid 9-for-10 from the line. The Celtics led by 12 in the third quarter before the Heat stormed back and were able to steal home-court advantage.

The Sixers did the same thing to the Celtics in Round 2 as James Harden was scintillating with 45 points. It will be interesting to see how Butler and the Heat handle this situation as they move forward in this series.
