2023 New Orleans Saints Super Bowl odds with conference, division and win total best bets

Analyzing 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds for the New Orleans Saints, including best bets for win total, conference and division titles.

After a 7-10 record in the 1st season under coach Dennis Allen, the New Orleans Saints are the favorites to capture the NFC South in 2023.

With all 4 NFC South teams breaking in new quarterbacks, the Saints might have the best one in veteran Derek Carr. The strong armed QB from Fresno State and the Las Vegas Raiders will look to connect with WRs Chris Olave and Michael Thomas to move the Saints down the field on offense.

With the addition of Carr and RB Jamaal Williams to compliment RB Alvin Kamara, New Orleans is on track to once again take over a division decimated by attrition.

The drafting of DE Bryan Bresee will help replace the loss of DE Marcus Davenport to free agency. With the defense being the strong suit to start off the season, the Saints can make a big impact in the NFC playoff race.

Below, we look at the New Orleans Saints’ 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds from FanDuel Sportsbook along with projected win total, playoff, conference and division odds as we make our best NFL picks and predictions..

Saints over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook – last updated May 17 at 6:50 p.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 9.5 wins: (Over: +106 | Under: -132)

As mentioned, the Saints are the favorites to win the NFC South. Much of this is due to the addition of Carr and the return of wideout Thomas.

Based on the strength of schedule models, the Saints have the NFL’s 2nd-easiest schedule for the upcoming season. Along with playing each team twice in their division, which isn’t considered very strong, they also get a weakened NFC North and a mediocre AFC South on the schedule.

With such an easy schedule, along with the addition of Carr, the Saints should not be plus-money to go Over 9.5 wins. Getting them is terrific value and a bet worth making.

BET OVER 9.5 WINS (+106).

Saints Super Bowl odds

  • +3500 (bet $100 to win $3,500)

In an NFC which doesn’t have as many true Super Bowl contenders as the AFC, the Saints could be a solid bet here.

Although it will likely mean having to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills or Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl, it is still a possibility for any team to win once they get there

The +3500 price is solid value for this team. If the Saints win their division  they would have the advantage of a guaranteed home game in playoffs. This advantage could lead them to a win and one game closer to making this bet a reality. So a small wager on SAINTS +3500 is certainly warranted.

Will the Saints make the playoffs?

  • Yes -162 | No +132

PASS.

While the odds on the Saints to win the NFC South are plus-money, the odds for them to make the playoffs are far worse at -162. This is why this is not a good bet to make.

With the entire division in flux, the smart way to play this is to take the Saints to win the division and sprinkle money on the other wagers for the win total, conference and Super Bowl.

Odds to win NFC South Division

  • Saints +125 (bet $100 to win $125)
  • Falcons +260 (bet $100 to win $260)
  • Panthers +350 (bet $100 to win $350)
  • Buccaneers +550 (bet $100 to win $550)

After winning consistently with QB Tom Brady, the Buccaneers now find themselves at the bottom of the division in terms of odds and the Saints have rebounded to the top.

At +125, the Saints are the play to make — and at plus-money, it’s an even better play.

Saints odds to win NFC

  • +1400 (bet $100 to win $1400)

While +1400 are good odds, there are other wagers with plus odds which are safer for the Saints.

The +125 to win the division and the +106 to get Over 9.5 wins are both solid wagers for New Orleans.

While the Saints are likely to win the NFC South, they would still need to get past the Philadelphia Eagles and possibly the San Francisco 49ers to win the conference. The +1400 odds are not quite high enough to make it a worthwhile bet.

Either PASS or only make a small bet on the Saints to win the NFC.
