Joe Burrow continues to give back to the state of Ohio

Burrow agreed to provide payment for 20 families to receive mental health care at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

[autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] has made plenty of charitable contributions to his home state of Ohio over the years.

That trend continued this week with Burrow agreeing to provide payment for 20 families to receive mental health care at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

During Burrow’s 2019 Heisman speech, he mentioned some people in his hometown of Athens, Ohio, have struggled. In the ensuing days, the Athens food bank raised thousands and Burrow said he’d continue to find ways to give back.

Burrow’s connection to the state is strong. Not only did he grow up there and spend his first three years of college at Ohio State, but his dad, Jim Burrow, was a longtime assistant at Ohio University.

The former LSU star is gearing up for his fourth NFL season. The Bengals fell just short of a second straight trip to the Super Bowl last year, but Burrow and crew look prime to make another run this fall.
