Auburn remains the No. 16 team in the country in this week’s USA TODAY/NFCA Coaches Poll after making the semifinals of the SEC Softball Tournament in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Auburn fell short of the finals with a 3-2 loss to South Carolina on Friday afternoon. This weekend’s host, Clemson, dropped one spot after falling to No. 5 Duke in the ACC Softball Tournament in South Bend, Indiana.
