2023 Chicago Bears Super Bowl odds with conference, division and win total best bets

Analyzing 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds for the Chicago Bears, including best bets for win total, conference and division titles.

After finishing with a  league worst record of 3-14 in 2022, the Chicago Bears had major work to do to revamp the roster.

The first thing the Bears did to accomplish this was to trade the No.1 pick in the NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers. In return, Chicago received several draft picks, including the Panthers No. 1 selection in 2024, and a top WR in D.J. Moore.

The addition of Moore along with RB D’Onta Foreman and TE Robert Tonyan will give QB Justin Fields more weapons than he has had in his 1st 2 seasons. By drafting Darnell Wright to play tackle with the No. 9 overall pick, the Bears have also solidified the line in front of Fields.

After taking Wright, the Bears used their next 3 picks to upgrade their defense. This started with DT Gervon Dexter Sr. out of Florida in Round 2 and followed up by the selection of CB Tyrique Stevenson, who finished his career at Miami after starting at Georgia. The final Day 2 pick was DL Zacch Pickens out of South Carolina.

The best pick of Day 3 and possibly the entire draft for the Bears, could be RB Roschon Johnson from Texas. After coming into college as a QB, Johnson was switched to RB where he backed up Bijan Robinson, the No. 1 pick of the Atlanta Falcons. Despite never being able to get ahead of Robinson on the depth chart, Johnson is still an elite runner and could very well become the 2nd-best RB to come out of this draft class.

Bears over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook – last updated May 16 at 7:53 a.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 7.5 wins: (Over: -118 | Under: -104)

After going 3-14 in 2022, there is a lot of excitement in Chicago for this Bears team in 2023. With the feeling that the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers will both take a step backwards, the Bears are the trendy pick to contend with the Detroit Lions for the NFC North.

The Bears will be better in year 2 under Matt Eberflus and year 3 with  Fields. Over 7.5 at -118 is the betting favorite right now, but this might be just a bit too close to call to make a wager. The best thing to do for now is to stay away from this line. But if it jumps to 8.5, the Under could be in consideration for a play.

Bears Super Bowl odds

  • +6000 (bet $100 to win $6,000)

With only the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, Washngton Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers having worse odds in the NFC to win the Super Bowl, this is not a wager smart money should be placed on.

The last time a team with higher odds won the Super Bowl was Tampa Bay at +7500. And those odds were before signing Tom Brady. After signing him, these odds dropped to +2000.

We know all the pieces the Bears have in place and this team is not going to win the Super Bowl. Even out of the down NFC conference. There are other  plays to attempt with this team. Even a small MVP bet on Fields at +2000 would be better.

Will the Bears make the playoffs?

  • Yes +172 | No -220

Chicago will come a long way in 2023. Some Bears fans are saying 11 wins are possible. I do not see it and neither do bookmakers with the odds given for the Bears to even make the playoffs.

Taking the No. at -220 might be a safe play, but it is not worth a wager to risk more than 2 times the money.

If you want to make a parlay play of Bears to miss the playoffs with the Under-win total, I could get behind it. But do not wager on this bet as a singular play.

Odds to win NFC North Division

  • Lions +140 (bet $100 to win $140)
  • Vikings +330 (bet $100 to win $330)
  • Packers +350 (bet $100 to win $350)
  • Bears +350 (bet $100 to win $350)

Coming tied for the worst odds to win, the Bears are not a solid pick to wager on winning the division. Minnesota is coming off a season of 13 victories and the Lions are America’s team this year. If one of those teams does not win the North, the other should. Betting on the Bears to make such a monumental jump is not a smart or profitable venture.

Bears odds to win NFC

  • +2500 (bet $100 to win $2,500)

The Bears have the same odds of winning the NFC as the Falcons do. And the Falcons have an easier schedule and division. Not only will the Bears struggle to win the conference, but they will also struggle to get to 8 wins, and this is not enough to make even a small wager on this bet.
