College football recruiting is a game of trying to project what’s going to happen knowing that things can change in an instant.
The Buffaloes found this out again on Sunday as one of their top wide receiver targets, EJ Horton, decided to flip his commitment from Colorado to the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Horton, who was transferring out of Marshall, had announced his commitment to Colorado on May 4. The Buffaloes were likely drawn to the speed that Horton possessed, so look for head coach Deion Sanders and his staff to add more speed to the WR room in the coming weeks.
Colorado also received a commitment from Northwestern State transfer WR Javon Antonio on Sunday,
