DeMeco Ryans gave an update on one of the Houston Texans’ starting guards during rookie minicamp Friday.
Ryans spoke favorably of the progress from Kenyon Green, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery.
“Kenyon is doing fine,” Ryans said. “He’s on the road to recovery. He’s doing good.”
General manager Nick Caserio told “Payne & Pendergast” on Sports Radio 610 [KILT-AM] shortly before the draft that Green was making progress.
According to guard Shaq Mason, Green is making sure to lean on the veteran for advice as he continues to expand his knowledge of the game entering his second season.
Green, a former 2022 first-round pick from Texas A&M, started 14 of his 15 games active last season.
