With the NFL schedule set to be released on Thursday, we’re taking a look at the number of miles the Tennessee Titans will travel in 2023, and where that ranks among the rest of the teams in the league.
While we don’t know the exact dates and times of Tennessee’s 17 games, we do know who their home and away opponents will be, so a miles traveled calculation can still be accurately done.
In case you forgot, here’s a look at all of Tennessee’s opponents for home and away games:
Home: Texans, Colts, Jaguars, Falcons, Ravens (London), Panthers, Bengals, Chargers, Seahawks
Away: Texans, Colts, Jaguars, Browns, Dolphins, Saints, Steelers, Buccaneers
Thankfully, Bill Speros of Bookies.com crunched the numbers for us and they show that Tennessee will travel a total of 17,022 miles in 2023, which ranks as the 14th-fewest in the NFL.
The Titans will travel about 1,891.33 miles per road trip and will cross a total of 24 time zones in their travels.
Tennessee’s longest road trip will be its international game, which will take place in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Titans are considered the home team.
The NFL will reveal the full schedule for all 32 teams on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network.
