Arkansas vs. Alabama: SEC Softball Tournament quarterfinals – How to watch, stream, listen

The winner of Thursday’s Arkansas Alabama game will all but lock up hosting for the NCAA Tournament.

The biggest game of the day Thursday from Bogle Park will end the day at Bogle Park.

Host team Arkansas, the No. 4-seed, will play No. 5 Alabama in the last quarterfinal of the SEC Softball Tournament under the lights. If the weather holds off long enough, anyway, the first pitch is scheduled at approximately 7 p.m., though in actuality, it will likely be a touch later.

The game is Arkansas’ first of the tournament. The Razorbacks earned a two-round bye by virtue of finishing in the top four during the regular season. Alabama beat Missouri in the first round, 7-2, to set up a fourth meeting with the Hogs this year.

Arkansas took two of three during the regular season in Tuscaloosa. The finale of the series was a class, with Rylin Hedgecock’s solo home run in the 10th providing the winning run.

The winner of the game Friday all but locks up a hosting gig for the NCAA Tournament. And if the winner keeps it up, a national seed is a possibility.
