The Jets will get prime-time exposure right out of the gate this season. The NFL announced that Aaron Rodgers’ debut with the team will come on Monday night, Sept. 11, at home against the Buffalo Bills.
The Jets and Bills split their season series in 2022. The Jets stunned the Bills at home in Week 9.
This will be the first appearance on Monday night for the Jets since a 30-27 loss to the Patriots in 2020. Their last win on Monday night came in 2018 against the Detroit Lions, who will be in the season-opening game on Thursday, Sept. 7 against the Chiefs.
The matchup with the Bills is the second Jets game that has been announced. The Jets will also host the Dolphins on Black Friday, Nov. 24. The entire schedule will be released Thursday night.
