One of the signs of an elite player is how consistently you can produce at a high level. There are a ton of players in the NFL who can have a big performance in a single game and then no-show the following week.
Luckily for the Raiders, they have one of the most consistent producers in the NFL in Maxx Crosby. No one in the league plays as hard as he does every week and his stat line shows it.
According to Pro Football Focus, no player in the NFL has more QB pressures (or hits) than Maxx Crosby since the 2021 season.

Crosby doesn’t have the sack totals of Nick Bosa or T.J. Watt and that’s the only reason he doesn’t have a Defensive Player of the Year award under his belt. But sacks can be a somewhat fluky thing depending on the quarterbacks that an EDGE rusher faces each week.
But one thing we know for sure is that Crosby is always around the opposing quarterback. And with some added help (Tyree Wilson) this offseason, don’t be surprised if we see him be even more productive in 2023.
