Ravens WR Zay Flowers shares excitement about Baltimore’s new-look offense

Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers shared his excitement about the offense that new offensive coordinator Todd Monken brings

When the Baltimore Ravens hired Todd Monken in February to be their new offensive coordinator, they knew that they needed a shift on offense. The team had struggled in too many areas under former offensive coordinator Greg Roman, and Monken could be the one to fix the team’s offensive woes in those aspects.

During quarterback Lamar Jackson’s press conference on Thursday, he mentioned that he likes what he’s seen from Monken’s new offense. Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers echoed those same sentiments following one of Baltimore’s rookie minicamp practices, saying that he “loves it”.

“Oh, I love it. It’s kind of like some of the stuff I ran at BC [Boston College]. I love it. I think it fits my style perfectly.”

It feels likely that more Ravens players will rave about the offense, as there is excitement buzzing about what the group can do moving forward. They have plenty of pieces to be successful, and with Jackson in the fold, anything is possible.
