While the Tennessee Titans will not open their recently-approved new stadium until 2027, the venue has already lined up a big event.
During an interview on 104.5 The Zone recently, Titans president and CEO Burke Nihill revealed that the WWE has already committed to holding its biggest event, WrestleMania, at Tennessee’s yet-to-be-built stadium in 2027.
“WrestleMania isn’t hypothetical, by the way,” Nihill said. “WrestleMania has already committed to 2027.”
Talks about bringing WrestleMania to Tennessee have been going on since at least 2022, when the two sides reached a verbal agreement that hinged on the new stadium being approved and built.

The WWE is no stranger to holding events in Tennessee, with the company bringing its SummerSlam to Nashville in 2022.
In addition to WrestleMania, the hope is that the new venue will also bring a Super Bowl, Final Four, and/or College Football Playoff to Tennessee down the road. Those three events still need to be secured, though.
