King Charles III was officially crowned as the King of England on Saturday morning in an elaborate ceremony that we haven’t seen since Queen Elizabeth II took the throne in 1953. Both of Charles’ sons — William and Harry — were in attendance, with the former being a part of the procession and program as the eldest and future successor to the throne.
Partway through the event, Prince William came forward to pledge his loyalty to his King in the Homage of Royal Blood ceremony. After making his statement, the son shared a precious moment with his father with a kiss on the cheek.
