Texas A&M basketball commit Andre Mills shines at Adidas 3SSB Circuit Invitational

Texas A&M 2024 commit Andre Mills shined at the Adidas 3SSB Circuit over the weekend, dropping 20 points and going 4-for-5 from the three-point line in a preview of what’s to come.

The upcoming Texas A&M basketball season is still months away, but Aggies fans were treated to a brief preview of the future over in Bryan, TX.

The Adidas 3Stripes Select Basketball (3SSB) Circuit held its Chapter II invitational over the weekend from Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30. Some of the best collegiate prospects went head-to-head on the hardwood, including a future Aggie.

Shooting guard Andre Mills, a three-star prospect in the Class of 2024, was one of the many talented hoopers that partook in the Chapter II 3SSB Circuit. Mills committed to the Aggies back on April 10, joining small forward Rob Dockery as the A&M’s second commit in the 2024 class.

The Brimmer And May School product flashed his toughness, athleticism, and sweet shooting stroke over the weekend, which should have Aggies fans eagerly awaiting his arrival at College Station. Check out a brief highlight reel below:

Mills, who plays for the Mas Rivals 17U Boys team, poured in 20 points on 7-13 shooting from the floor while going 4-5 from deep. He went 2-4 from the charity stripe while hauling five rebounds (three on the offensive glass). Among all 3SSB 17U Boys basketball players, Mills finished sixth in scoring and fifth in three-pointers made.

Mills’ versatility and physicality when it comes to crashing the boards make him the perfect Buzz Williams prospect, so no one can question his fit with the Maroon and White. The facet of his game that should have Aggies fans even more ecstatic? His 80 percent shooting from beyond the arc, as Texas A&M is looking to make a big jump in that category for the future.

If this weekend’s performance was just a small preview of what’s to come then the Aggies basketball team is set up for an especially bright future in the years to come.
