The Atlanta Falcons address the defensive side of the ball after going offense with first two selections, taking Ohio State defensive end Zach Harrison. The Falcons needed some more depth for the edge after making a ton of moves in free agency in the front seven. Harrison wasn’t the same type of dominant that we’ve seen come out of that school in the past, but still has real pro potential.
Harrison has got a big frame with some great physical traits that would get any fan excited, but his lack of production will be a cause of worry. It’s a boom-or-bust type of Day 2 pick, because it has great potential to work out, but he also has a higher than average chance to just be a guy that sticks around the bottom of the roster while getting by with his physical tools.
