The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Auburn running back Tank Bigsby in the third round with the No. 88 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
Unlike the first two rounds, the Jaguars opted against trading down and collecting more picks. However, it came as somewhat of a surprise that Jacksonville decided to sit tight rather than using their stockpile of 10 picks in Day 3 to maneuver in rounds two or three.
Jaguars used their third-round pick on Auburn RB Tank Bigsby, which should come as no surprise. Jaguars’ GM Trent Baalke now has drafted a running back in every single year he has been a GM (49ers 2011-2016, Jaguars 2021-2023).

Bigsby is 6’0, 215-pound back who was a five-star recruit out of high school and Co-SEC Freshman of the Year immediately after arriving at Auburn. In three seasons with the Tigers, Bigsby tallied more than 3,000 yards from scrimmage and 25 touchdowns.
In Jacksonville, he’ll join a backfield led by 2021 first-round pick Travis Etienne Jr. The team re-signed running back JaMycal Hasty and added former Cleveland Browns rusher D’Ernest Johnson in free agency. The team also has 2022 fifth-round pick Snoop Conner.
