With Alvin Kamara’s legal troubles up in the air, the New Orleans Saints bolster the running back room by picking TCU running back Kendre Miller.
Not the name that a lot of fans wanted to hear with hometown Tyjae Spears still on the board, but Miller is still a very good pick for the Saints. He has good size and was ultra productive in 2022. He had a stellar 1,399 yards and 17 touchdowns in 14 games for the Horned Frogs and was a large reason they made it to the National Championship Game. He scored at least once in all but one game. Miller is a strong runner and has some good moves for his size.
While a lot of people will point to low production in the passing game, it was likely more of a product of the TCU offense than his ability as he did look good when called on. Miller needs to work on his east-west running, but still projects to be a great weapon in the modern NFL.
