The Tennessee Titans made an aggressive move on Day 2 of the 2023 NFL draft when they traded up to No. 33 overall in order to select Kentucky quarterback, Will Levis.
In order to complete the trade, the Titans sent pick Nos. 41, 72 and a 2024 third-rounder to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for pick Nos. 33 and 81.
All throughout the pre-draft process, the overwhelming feeling among Titans fans that I saw pointed to a fan base that wanted no part of Levis, especially via a trade up that cost Tennessee a future pick.
Regardless, now Titans fans have to come to grips with the fact that Levis is their potential quarterback of the future after not wanting him to be that guy in the first place.
If you’ve been following the conversation about the Titans possibly taking a quarterback going into this year’s draft, you know exactly what kind of reactions the selection of Levis drew from Titans fans.
