Brooklyn Nets wing Mikal Bridges has shown a lot during his short stint in Brooklyn after being sent there in the Kevin Durant trade. Bridges has shown his ability to handle being the main scoring option on a playoff team and even though the end of his season was not the best that anyone has seen from him, he has shown enough for Nets fan to fully believe in his potential.
Bridges came to the Nets as a 3-and-D style wing who occasionally displayed his ability to score in the absence of a star player like when Devin Booker was hurt earlier this season as an example. The 6’6″, 209 LB wing from Philadelphia has shown that he can be a problem for opposing NBA defenses and even held his own against the Philadelphia 76ers in the playoffs.
So, the next question is, what would it take for teams to pry Bridges away from the Nets? Or, is he truly untouchable like Bleacher Report says he is? It’s important to note that the Memphis Grizzlies offered Brooklyn four first-round picks for Bridges after the Nets acquired him in the Durant trade. Most likely, teams will try to get Bridges given his potential and Brooklyn may have a tough choice to make depending on how they handle this upcoming offseason.
