Manel Kape rips ‘fat, weak and old’ Deiveson Figueiredo for withdrawing from UFC 290

“The truth is that he’s fat, weak and old. He started training and felt it’s not the same, so he ran from the fight.”

[autotag]Manel Kape[/autotag] has vented his frustration on yet another fight cancellation.

[autotag]Deiveson Figueiredo[/autotag] (21-3-1 MMA, 10-3-1 UFC) has been forced out of their UFC 290 matchup on July 8 after he wasn’t medically cleared to compete due to vision issues, per Canal Encarada.

Kape (18-6 MMA, 3-2 UFC) slammed the former flyweight champion for pulling out of their fight by going on a rant.

“This clown @Daico_Deiveson gave an interview saying that he was ready to fight in July, he signs the contract and then talks to the doctor asking if he can fight? He should talk to the doctor first and then sign. Bontorin,Alex Perez now This fake champion pull out ?”

The truth is that he’s fat, weak and old. He started training and felt it’s not the same, so he ran from the fight. @danawhite @Mickmaynard2 @AliAbdelaziz00 please do something, I can’t stand these losers anymore.”

Three of Kape’s past four fights have been canceled due to issues on his opponents’ sides. His most recent octagon appearance came this past December when he defeated David Dvorak by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 216. Prior to that, Kape scored back-to-back first-round knockouts of Ode Osbourne and Zhalgas Zhumagulov.

Figueiredo was scheduled to face a fresh face for the first time since submitting Alex Perez in December 2020. His past four fights came in title bouts against Brandon Moreno, where Moreno put an end to their rivalry by scoring a doctor’s stoppage TKO win to dethrone him at UFC 283.
